Venue has potential

I always love seeing widespread panic, so they sounded great. My review is more so for the venue. This venue has a great location, however, the soundboard & view are just horrible. There needs to be WAY more of a rise from front to back. The soundboard is one of the largest I’ve seen at a venue, and it completely obstructs the view of you aren’t there early enough to get near it or in front of it. Behind it, the view just isn’t even worth going to the show, in my opinion. The staff is fantastic at this venue, and they did a much better job this year getting folks inside thru the gates quicker. I love that this venue has good local food trucks from the area, rather than the regular stadium food that is usually not very good. Do more of this at other venues, they customers prefer to support local. I was happy to find a local wheat beer for sale here, most live nation venues have a minimal selection. I only drink wheat beers, so I normally can’t find a beer I like at live nation venues because most don’t have a wheat beer option. Things that need to change: drink prices & bring back ticket stubs. Fans live to keep ticket stubs for memories, Covid is over, bring those back please. The drink prices, insane. It’s just wrong to charge people these kind of prices. The wheat beer I bought was only 16oz & cost $18.19. That’s honestly absurd. You could sell more if they were priced better. (Im a bartender, & have a really hard time justifying these prices & actually showing you appreciate your patrons & want them to come back) Start having clean water refill stations at venues & cut out the plastic & awful tasting liquid death cans altogether. Thank goodness this venue allowed refillable bottles of water. It saved me a lot of $ and trips away from the show. I would’ve enjoyed more of the local wheat beer, but not at that price.
